I’m very excited to see Surfer Blood perform tomorrow! I like how the youtube page for this video thinks that Charlottesville exists within Richmond (it mentions that they’re performing in “Charlottesville, Richmond.” I wish that were the case— “Richville” would be an incredible hybrid city).
Anyways,I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to afford to go, because they are opening for Death Cab, and I can’t afford $38 tickets. Who do they think I am— some kind of thousandaire?! Anyways, I voiced my concerns on the facebook, and a friend offered me her ticket for $20. When I met up with her in person to get the ticket, I made the mistake of asking why she wasn’t going. She replied, “Because my ex has the other ticket.” Luckily, it’s general admission.
Also, where can I find penguin footie-pajamas?!
