I vaguely based this on my idea of a younger Leonard Cohen, because I wanted it to have gravity. It’s really nobody in particular, but I was playing around with the idea of an anonymous someone who means nothing to you, but could be the most important person in the world to somebody else (I have a liberal arts degree— pretension is my birthright!). Also, oil pastels are the best! You start out by laying down a mess of color, and you build it up. It gets all over you, and it’s fantastic!
